Early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer.

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation is partnering with the community to raise funds to bring Hologic 3Dimensions mammography and biopsy technology to our community. This new technology will significantly increase survival rates among breast cancer patients. It will also:

• Increase detection rates with better imagery
• Improve patient comfort and minimize trauma to breast tissue
• Require patients to receive lower radiation doses
• Make biopsies more accurate and decrease overall amount of biopsies 
• Increase patient screening capacity from 4 to 6 people per hour
