About Mission Hope Cancer Center - Arroyo Grande
Arroyo Grande Community Hospital has been very fortunate to have a heritage of cancer care developed and supported by a dedicated team of physicians and care providers. Our cancer program was the first accredited cancer program in San Luis Obispo County.
Mission Hope Cancer Center Arroyo Grande offers advanced cancer care to our community. To meet growing needs and keep treatment close to home, we expanded services into the Matthew Will Memorial Medical Center next to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital. Local cancer care provides comfort, convenience, and the chance to involve family in treatment.
Mission Hope Arroyo Grande features:• An infusion center with 12 chairs with a picturesque view
• An oncology nurse navigator who provides ongoing support from diagnosis through treatment
• A registered dietician who provides personalized nutritional counseling through the cancer journey
• A social worker to connect patients to community, financial and supportive services
• A lymphedema clinic to diagnose and treat lymphedema and help with ongoing management
• A conference center to host educational events, support groups and multidisciplinary Tumor Board meetings
• On-site Programs include: cancer risk, survivorship care, cancer rehabilitation and appearance
• An on-site pharmacist with cancer expertise to consult with the care team and patients
